HOW IT ALL BEGAN
When I first visited Egypt in 2015, I was blown away. The culture, the history, the antiquities - all brought to life for me by the world’s greatest tour guide, Yasser Omar. I raved about the trip to my friends, and it struck me how many people said exactly the same thing: “EGYPT IS ON MY BUCKET LIST!” It was a bucket list item for my friend Kevin, and he asked me for travel advice. I called my new friend Yasser, and together we arranged a trip for Kevin. It turned out to be a better itinerary for much less than I paid for my trip. Kevin loved it, and his friends asked me to set up the same trip for them. Bucket List Travel was born.

Annie has been told she has jet fuel in her blood. She has traveled to 38 countries around the world, and finds her joy in exploring new places. Annie started Bucket List Travel in 2015 when she realized she could provide a valuable service to people who wanted help traveling to locations on their bucket lists. Prior to that, she worked for 30 years in marketing communications. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration and Marketing, and a Master’s of Education in Communications. She lives in Massachusetts in the United States where she was born, but spends nearly half the year traveling with her tour groups.
YASSER OMAR
EGYPTOLOGIST, TOUR GUIDE
For Yasser, Egypt is his homeland, his heritage and his life’s work. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Egyptology and a Master’s in Egyptian Mythology from the Cairo University, and has 25 years of experience as a licensed tour guide. Yasser is passionate about sharing the rich history, amazing monuments and friendly spirit of his beloved country. He speaks fluent Arabic, English and French, and has provided tours in all three languages. Yasser loves traveling and getting to know people of different cultures.

My husband and I have just completed a private tour with Bucket List Travel. We were their first booking since the pandemic started, and we truly loved the experience. Annie, the owner, arranged a great itinerary, and Yasser, our guide couldn’t have been better. He is a scholar in Egyptology who is passionate about his country, its history, culture, architecture, food and all things Egypt. He also bends over backwards to give his guests the best experience possible. We normally travel independently, but are so glad we decided to see Egypt this way. We would not have gotten half as much out of the trip without the background and understanding provided by Yasser. I would recommend using this company without hesitation.
